The bill (Reg. No7343) submitted by the People´s Deputy of Ukraine V.
Bondyk, envisages the amendments to the clauses 156 and 165-3 of the
Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine aimed at the implementation of the maximal terms
of being under arrest of the suspects, accused and defendants depending on the
social danger of committed crimes and form of guilt.
The Committee members upheld the bill as its adoption would facilitate humanization of the criminal-procedural legislation and wider use of other alternative types of preventive punishment.
